How Do I BE a Miracle?

While pumping gas today, I noticed a young man that was standing in the rain in 52 degree weather. It pricked my heart because I could not imagine if that young man was me.Ironically, I had just read Matthew 25 that morning before getting out of bed.

Verses 34-40 (AMP) says “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God, appointed to eternal salvation], inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. (35) For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; (36) I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me [with help and ministering care]; I was in prison, and you came to Me [ignoring personal danger].’ (37) Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? (38) And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? (39) And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ (40) The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’

I immediately thought of the scriptures and said, "God, how do I help him?" I should also say that I listened to the song why pray for a miricale when you can be one! Needless to say, my soul was burning. Yet, I am still thinking about how on earth can I help him. So I drove around the corner to where he was, but he moved to a nook where I could not get to him. So I wen to drop off a car to the airport (Enterprise) and when my husband picked me up I asked if we could go back over there.

When we got back to the gas station, I didn't see him and concluded that he left. Then I spotted him and asked my husband if he could go and talk to him. While doing so I prayed for the Holy Spirit to move in both of their hearts and to be in total control of what was going on. He talked to him for a while and took his phone number down.

It turned out that the young man (about 23-25) was trying to escape the life that he had been so deeply entrenched in, but he couldn't get a job after trying and is now homeless. All I could ask God is how do we help him. We prayed for him, but how do we be a miracle. I still don't know. I want so deeply to help him. Please join us in praying that God use us further to dispense his love and be empty vessels for his work. Please pray for the young man that the seeds planted fall on good ground and would manifest in his life.

Hopefully and prayerfully I have more to tell you about as related to this journey.

Thoughts...prayers...
