Overall: This is another desirable Frakenpattern. I have been wanting to make this skirt for a long time, but I have never been very fond of the shirt because of my center mass. In lieu of the shirt, I decided to make a top and make it into a dress.
Fabric: I used a heather gray fabric from somewhere--I don't remember. But it is a really nice knit fabric that is not a ponte, but it has a little weight to it. I really liked this fabric and it ironed better than expected.
Pattern: I used Vogue 1415 for the skirt and several other pieces of patterns for the bodice and sleeves. In particular, I used my favorite Burda dress pattern and used the part to the waist and I used the curve of a cap sleeve to guide the development of these sleeves. I made the neck a little higher when cutting out the pattern and extended the edge of a sleeve to go over the edge of the shoulder. I used the back of a wrap dress because it did not have any pleats in the back of the dress.
